The Meeting 1,701 Days After The First "Groundhog Day" Email

Hello all you gorgeous outdoorsy folks!

It is that time of the week again, I will be summarizing this past meeting for all those who couldn't attend or for those who simply have a really poor memory.

The first item on our meeting's agenda was recapping our trip to the beautiful New River Gorge in West Virginia. The trees were bursting with fall colors, the temperatures were only desperately cold at night and the rain we expected to dampen (hehe, literally) the end of our trip did not show!! All in all, a raving success that we were really stoked came together so well.

Secondly, we covered Raccoon Creek, a backpacking trip occuring THIS WEEKEND. Signups have been closed and the roster set, so you know if you're going on this. But yeah! We distributed gear and stoked the embers of excitement in the members who are sure to have a lovely time this weekend!

Thirdly, we held signups for the much anticipated, and very fall-themed trip to Soergels! Kira's organizing a little group of people to head over to the nearby apple orchard/pumpkin patch for some fun fall activities this Saturday!! I can vouch for many of the things they have to offer, be it the cider, the apples, the pumpkins, the pulled pork, the mac and cheese, etc, etc. The list goes on, but you get the idea.

In other news, as we announced at last week's meeting, we are planning to hold a 'Management info session' sorta thing. This will just be a little meeting separate from our weekly meetings where we'll review the general structure and workings of the club to provide insight for those of you interested in taking a more managerial and hands-on role in the club! We do not yet have a time set for this meeting, but will notify you when we have it sorted!

Thank you so very much for reading through my email, I promise I do put time and effort into it :)
If you have any questions, please consult the FAQ (https://outdoorsclubpitt.blogspot.com/p/faq-2.html) with any questions you have and if you have any that go unanswered please email me!

Have a lovely rest of your week and please stay warm out there! As I'm stupidly still biking around, the wind-chill probably makes it seem colder than it is, but please stay warm and safe out there!
Your spooky secretary,
Aidan Bell

Okay no but seriously why is Stick Season such a phat MOOD. I wanna just cozy up on the couch and sip some hot cider when I listen to the album. Which is odd because the depresso undertones are not super conducive to cozy vibes, but I can;t help it okay?? Noah Kahan is a wizard and I am here for any albums he chooses to release.
