We will also be holding sign-ups for Raystown, one of our big biking trips at today's meeting!! Raystown will be THIS coming weekend, signups tomorrow, swing by for more information, signups will also be placed in the post-meeting email.

Doing this one nice and late just for funsies and definitely not because I forgot!

Just a few announcements regarding tomorrow's meeting. First up, we have signups for the New River Gorge! If you cannot make it to the meeting, do not fret, it will be sent in the recap email. This is one of our biggest trips of the Fall, but that does not mean it is infinitely large! We will bring as many people as we can, but please do not be disheartened if you don't make it on a trip!

Next, if you are on the roster for Laurel Highlands (you got an email about it) you NEED to show up to tomorrow's meeting for important information. If you cannot make it, please communicate with Lauryn (LPP8@pitt.edu) to figure out other plans!

Lastly, we will also be having our second info session-y thing! (I need a better name for that) Something Cool and Informative (aka- SCI) was apparently "too confusing" and "didn't make any sense". This info session will regard layering, clothes and staying warm as we get into the colder months for doing outdoors-y things. Hypothermia is no joke and is not fun - don't get it.

That just about does it for me!

Hope to see you at the meeting, bundle up if you're heading over because it will either be 70 or 40 depending on what October feels like sending our way!

The Closing of the Semester

Hello all you beautiful people!! I am completely floored that it is already April 17th, we will not have a GBM tomorrow as we simply have no more information to impart! It has been an absolutely amazing semester and year! Two years back from the covid desolation, and I would hazard to say that you can't even tell. This year went by so much smoother, we had a better idea of what we were doing and the dozens of officers that joined our ranks made the process so much easier to manage. Thank you to all the officers who assisted in making this year the amazing success that it was. That being said, we do not have this club without all you beautiful people who show up to celebrate the amazing outdoors, so truly I say thank you to you guys as well. We have yet to decide if we're doing a senior send-off or something for the officers that our leaving us, I cannot say for sure what that will look like, but I'm sure I'll have a part to play in that.
