The Meeting 1,687 Days After The First "Groundhog Day" Email

Hello beautiful people!!

Thank you to everyone who turned up tonight for the meeting! I'm loving the fact that you guys are still showing up and showing support for us, it really means a lot!

For those going on Laurel Highlands, I hope you turned up and learned a lot! If you got an email telling you you are on Laurel Highlands and either didn't turn up tonight or have a question regarding the trip, email Lauryn ASAP (LPP8@pitt.edu). We also had a brief info session regarding staying warm in cold weather backpacking, for some resources check the following links:

We also held sign-ups for TWO trips tonight!

First ,we have Raystown which is occurring THIS weekend. Raystown is a mountain biking trip that is very accessible to beginners while also offering some zesty sends for those more gritty of heart and spring-y of shocks!
Sign-ups here:

Second, we have the NEW RIVER GORGE. This is a trip to West Virginia to the beautiful and nationally-renowned Tudor's Biscuit World. And there's also a National Park nearby or whatever where you COULD climb, raft, and hike if you weren't too preoccupied shoving countless biscuits down your piehole.
I'm just now being told that most people prioritize hiking, rafting, and climbing over Tudor's, but I'm not convinced. I'm being told that the hiking will provide beautiful views of the wonderous gorge, the climbing will be excellent for all those looking to get more experience climbing outdoors, and rafting will be our first big rafting trip with the club! (Note: those who go rafting will have to pay $20 extra)

Alrighty! That just about does it for me!

Love ya byeeeeeeeeee

Random Secretary Thoughts) Does anyone else find it odd that the composer of Don't Worry Darling was also the composer of How to Train Your Dragon? Both strong soundtracks in their own rights, but really on opposite ends of the spectrum, I just find it interesting that while Olivia was DEFINITELY firing Shia she was also watching HTTYD and thinking 'yep this is my composer'
