The Meeting 1,680 Days After The First "Groundhog Day" Email

Hello beautiful people!!

Another successful meeting!

We discussed the success of our trip to breakneck! We were able to train a good few climbers on leading and cleaning so that we can hopefully bring more fresh faces on trips later on!

Dolly Sods is still currently on for this weekend!! If you are on that trip, you've received an email regarding your car and all the details you need. If you did not receive that email, you are not on the trip! Stay tuned those of you on the trip as we may have to make adjustments for weather!

We also held signups for Laurel Highlands Hiking trail which is up in the Ohiopyle region! If you heard about Dolly Sods and thought 'oof that sounds way too hardcore for me' then Laurel Highlands is the trip for you! It will be a single-night trip going from 10/8 (Saturday) into 10/9 (Sunday) with travel to and from on each respective day. More details can be found at the top of the signup form here:
If you have any bonus questions about Laurel Highlands please email Lauryn (Lpp8@pitt.edu) or Sophia (seb195@pitt.edu)

Lastly, we did announce that we will be holding signups for the inimitable New River Gorge trip NEXT MEETING. This is our long weekend trip down to the New River Gorge National Park in West Virginia, we will be offering rafting, hiking, climbing and all that good stuff. GET HYPED, coming soon to Outdoors Clubs near you!

For now that's all I've got for you, have a lovely week!
Love ya byeeeeeeeeeeeee
Aidan Bell
Outdoors Club Secretary

Random thought if you make it to the end of the email: Should I watch Rings of Power? Like, it can't be as good as the original trilogy, right? We don't have Tolkien to write this one. That being said, maybe I need something fresh to cleanse my palate after the dumpster fire of hot garbage that was the Hobbit adaptation to film. So many choices, oh well!
