The Meeting 1,484 Days After The First "Groundhog Day" Email

I have gone back and figured out what the title of this email should be, so we're back on this trend, apologies if you hate it, and if you do indeed hate it, please reply to this email and tell me why and what a better alternative might be!

Last night we discussed a lot of managerial stuff in our officer pre-meeting so things are going along quicklike, BUT yeah! Merch is coming along great, we'll be updating you about that really shortly, like, within the week, and due to issues with Green Bank, we have Raccoon Creek this weekend instead!

This will be headed by one of our new officers: Madeline, if you have any questions, they are who you wanna reach out to, but you can also always email me and I'll just send you down the line to her or get the answer and reply so whatever is easiest for you.
Speaking of, a little blurb about Raccoon Creek from Madeline:
"Raccoon Creek is a PA state park about a 45 minutes drive from campus. We'll be staying one night at a group campsite and hiking a couple trails in the area. If you're able to leave by 2:30pm Friday please do, as we're hoping to get hiking in on both days of the trip. If not, don't worry, we'll all meet at the campground later. It will probably be quite muddy so keep that in mind while packing!"

If this sounds like something you wanna do, fill out the form below ASAP, we are throwing together this roster quickly because it's THIS weekend.

We will have a trip calendar out for the spring trips within the week, please bear in mind this will be a little lighter than from fall as we are out most of our climbing chairs. With that in mind, we are going to aim to have a lot more thrown together "we're doing this now" stuff in order to get people meeting with other members etc etc. These spur of the moment trips will be stuff like climbing at Ascend, slacklining at Carnegie (Brent has been killing it with these, the slack group chat is constantly popping) or a nature walk in Schenley etc.

We are working hard on the budget and merch right now, again more merch info REALLY SOON and the budget is just a slog because we're trying to make it as perfect as possible for next year, we greatly appreciate your patience as the budget has been stalling other to-do items (like merch).

LASTLY, we ARE moving to discord in an undetermined capacity, we don't fully know to what capacity as a lot of us are not well versed on it at all, but FEAR NOT, you are not going to be rid of my emails for a while yet and if you do, I'll just send equally annoying messages on discord so you're never gonna escape me MWHAAHAH. But yeah! The brilliant new officer Marlorie is heading that and we are very thankful for that, and we will update with you as that progresses, again probably something that will be utilized more successfully in the fall with a potential soft launch this Spring/Summer.

The Closing of the Semester

Hello all you beautiful people!! I am completely floored that it is already April 17th, we will not have a GBM tomorrow as we simply have no more information to impart! It has been an absolutely amazing semester and year! Two years back from the covid desolation, and I would hazard to say that you can't even tell. This year went by so much smoother, we had a better idea of what we were doing and the dozens of officers that joined our ranks made the process so much easier to manage. Thank you to all the officers who assisted in making this year the amazing success that it was. That being said, we do not have this club without all you beautiful people who show up to celebrate the amazing outdoors, so truly I say thank you to you guys as well. We have yet to decide if we're doing a senior send-off or something for the officers that our leaving us, I cannot say for sure what that will look like, but I'm sure I'll have a part to play in that.
