The Meeting 1,856 Days After The First "Groundhog Day" Email

Yesternight we had a lovely time handing out merch! To all those who came, I hope you are deeply appreciative of your beautiful green shirts that match your beautiful personalities. As well as any stickers or carabiners you snagged! We also held a little raffle for some gift cards that were super sick, so I hope you all enjoyed that too!

People going to Cherry Springs this weekend have already been reached out to, please message those trip coordinators if you have any questions!

INFO ABOUT SHIRTS:

We did a reservation form for the merch shirts, because while shirts are free for members, we wanted to get an informed number of sizes to order to reduce waste! However, as it happens there's usually some that people don't pick up and we have extras anyways. Thus, we are putting a deadline of the meeting on APRIL 11, 2023 to pick up your RESERVED green shirt (aka we should have a shirt of the size you reserved that is like 'set aside' for you). After this, the shirts will be free reign: first come, first serve (but please only 1 shirt per person, don't grab a handful thx <3). If you're NOT A MEMBER and want to buy a shirt for $15, you can also do so after the 11th. 

ALSO - we STILL HAVE A BOX OF LAST YEAR'S SHIRTS! There's still some of the black and gold merch shirts, and these are free to anyone if you're gonna wear it. We wanna get rid of em and have people enjoying them! Wear it, bleach-dye it, crop it, cut it, embroider it, have fun :) 

We will either have these merch shirts at the meetings, or take a trip to the SOOS to give out the shirts (they are stored in our lockers in WPU 510). If you can't make a meeting, please message an officer to arrange a pickup time :) 

And we still have lots of Outdoors Club stickers and carabiners for FREE that you can pick up with a shirt <3

We also held signups for our Allegheny trip! Little bit of backpacking in the wonderous outdoors that is Allegheny National Forest! In other news we have postponed our trip for Coopers Rock this coming weekend, that means that for the time being, signups are still open! If you want to get outside and boulder, now is your chance!!! We will now be holding Coopers on Saturday 4/1, as a little day trip, leaving in the morning, coming home in the evening.
