Meeting 9 days after Groundhog Day

Hey folks,

We're meeting tonight at 9pm in 203 Lawrence. There will be sign ups for the Lewisburg caving trip, so if you like to get down underground this is a chance for you and your headlamp to shine.

This Thursday is Fossil Fuel Divestment Day, Pitt and about 50 other schools around the world will be holding rallies to demand that the University divest its endowment from fossil fuels. For those not in the know, Pitt invests a chuck of its 4.3 billion dollar endowment into the fossil fuel industry, which is, ya know, making the fucking planet unlivable for the sake of profit. If you think that's some bullshit, you're right. Come out Thursday at noon to do something about it. The location is a secret from now, but will be announced here: https://www.facebook.com/events/845561722553610/

Also the No Man's Land Film Festival coming up. It's a sweet collection of films highlighting the women doing awesome, badass stuff in the outdoors. It's free and will be in the Frick Fine Arts Auditorium Friday, February 28 at 7:30. More info here: https://www.facebook.com/events/s/no-mans-land-film-festival-pit/3935946429752736/

Best,
Jon
