Brand of the Month - Steep Deals on La Sportiva Shoes

You might have already heard, but....  the Outdoors Club is establishing a sweeet Brand of the Month deal through College Outside! Every month we will highlight a particular brand, which we are able to get products at steep discounts (think wholesale prices here) and extend those savings to you through a group order (s/o to College Outdoors, the real MVP).


Our first Brand of the Month is La Sportiva, a company that makes quality climbing, hiking, and running shoes. If your looking to hit the crags once PA finally dries out and hit the gym in the meantime, this is definitely something you should take advantage of.

If you would like to be a part of the group order, please fill out the order form, and give me cash or check (made out to the University of Pittsburgh) for the correct amount (as listed in the items spreadsheet). I will be at the Tree's Hall Climbing Wall the following dates and times to collect money and answer questions:

Friday, Feb. 23 2-7pm

Saturday, Feb 24 1-6pm

Monday,  Feb 26 8-10pm

Wednesday, Feb 28 4-7pm

 

There are no returns or exchanges, so make sure you choose the appropriate size/style/color of whatever you want. All orders and money should be turned in no later than Thursday March 1st (1 week from today). The gear should arrive just after Spring Break!

Pre-Meeting Email for 9/28

Hello Beautiful People! We got a meeting and oooooooo baby it's gonna be a good one. This past weekend we had a highly successful backpacking trip to Laurel Highlands, our President and one of the leads on the trip, Kira will give you a lil more detail: Hello y'all- Kira here (editing this draft for this blurb, Aidan does a fantastic job writing the rest)- Evan and I led the Laurel Highlands backpacking trip this past weekend and it was dope! We left Saturday morning and got back Sunday afternoon (after a very important pit stop at DQ and McDonald's of course). The Highlands are gorgeous and the weather was perfect- around the 60s the whole time- with just a bit of rain Saturday evening (we had already got to camp so some people went for an additional pack-less hike while others (like myself) chose to take a cozy nap and wait out the rain), otherwise sunny and lovely.
